Bradford 2025 Impact Gamers LiVE!

BE PART OF HISTORY! GET INVOLVED!

We are joining in the celebration of Bradford 2025 with a live event in June showcasing the work of the young people (8-14yr olds*) in Bradford. Get involved to have your game ideas shown to the city.

  • Enter you game ideas in our fab competition (see below)
  • FREE Games taster sessions running through Nov 24-Feb 25 impactgamers.net/taster
  • 5 Groups of young games designers will represent Bradford North, South, East, West and Central
  • The games made by group will be showcased in arcade machines across the City
  • The big live show will have competitions, prizes and all the games will be featured

GAME CONCEPT COMPETITION

If you can’t get to a free taster and would like to be considered for a games making group, this is for you!
(And there are prizes to win too!)

How to enter:

  • You must be aged 8-14yr old and live in a Bradford postcode (BD)
  • On a piece of paper (or digitally) explain your original game idea:
  • Your games location/theme must be based around a “special to you” Bradford location (ideally near your home)
  • The game needs to be appropriate for a 7year+ to play (e.g. no real world violence etc)
  • Show your main character/characters and show the task they will be completing in order to gain points/win the game
  • Get your parent to WhatsApp a clear photo (bright, no dark shadows) of your entry to us on 07749833826 Include in your WhatsApp message the following:
    • Your first name,
    • Your BD number (e.g. BD5)
    • Your age
    • The games name
    • What Bradford location was your inspiration and why.
  • Competition will be judged 3 times (last entry dates 8th Dec 24, 16th Feb 25, 20th April 25) we will contact the winners soon after via their parent’s number on WhatsApp.
  • By entering the competition you allow impact gamers to use your idea with credit shown to you.
